With more than 25 people on the team and a lot of high-tech equipment in our inventory, we get asked all sorts of questions all the time. 1. How many years of experiences does Urban Measure have with residential measurements?
Urban Measure is proud to have just celebrated its 15th year in residential measurement services! We are coming up on two decades in business by ensuring we stay informed about residential measurement trends and regulations, and the equipment required to take the most accurate measurements.
2.How long do you take on site for your services an average size home?
Measure only – 30 to 60 minutes
Floor Plan – 45 minutes to 1 hour for every 1000 Sq.Ft.
Photography – 30 to 45 minutes
Matterport 3D – 45 minutes to 1 hour for every 1000 Sq.Ft.

4. Do you work with commercial Realtors or only residential?
We are happy to work with both residential and commercial Realtors.
5. Are you insured / what liability do you carry?
We carry a $1,000,000.00 Errors and Omissions Insurance for Measurements and $2,000,000.00 in general commercial liability to cover any property assets while on site. Documentation is available by request and we highly recommend you do, from any provider used
6. What is the Blue Sky Guarantee and how does it work?
The Blue Sky Guarantee means you don’t have to time your real estate photos to the weather! Urban Measure will edit a blue sky into each exterior photo for a small added fee. You don’t have to wish for a sunny day to get the best photos to showcase a property; our Blue Sky Guarantee ensures any day is the best day to take the photos you need.
7. How long does it take to receive the measurements or photos?
Measurements are a same day service provided we have the measurements completed by 4:00 pm. Photos will be edited and sent back by 5:00 pm the following business day.
8. Is there a rush service?
We do offer express photography, which will get you your photos within an hour of the photo shoot. However, please note that these photos will not be print quality and are meant for MLS use only.
9. Are you insured / what liability do you carry?
Yes. We carry a $1,000,000.00 errors and omissions insurance for measurements and $2,000,000.00 in general commercial liability to cover any property assets while on site. Documentation is available by request and we highly recommend you do, from any provider used.
10. Do you have a drone service?
Yes, we absolutely do! Not only can we capture your property in beautiful, high-quality 4D with our drones, we also include the neighbourhood’s features and amenities. Our drone service comes with unlimited photos and is the most trending and tech-forward way to make your properties stand out. As long as it falls within Transport Canada’s regulations for commercial drone use.
